This is one of my favorite desserts to bake at home. I pretend it’s healthy because of the oatmeal and apples. Never mind the sugar. I’m sure it is healthier than lots of sweet things.
HAHA. I’m right there with you about the oatmeal and apples making it a healthy dessert, although I’m not terribly troubled by unhealthy desserts. haha
This is the type of thing my husband would love. I am not fond of cooked apples, but that’s just because I’m weird.
My dad used to hate apple pie, until it was discovered that he had picked up the hatred at school, where the cook used to leave in the cores. He now loves apple pie.

THE APPLE CORE??? What in the world was wrong with that school cook. Oh my gosh. I wouldn’t like apple pie either.
OK, it’s decided – I have old apples at home, I’m gonna make this tomorrow!
HAHA Great!
I love crisps. So easy, and cozy. I look forward to seeing your B-Z recipes.

Peaches work well for this recipe, too.
