Once upon a time doesn’t conjure images of castles, damsels in distress, knights, dragons, quests, or any of the ubiquitous fairy tale tropes for me.
The first thing that comes to my mind with that phrase is Audrey Hepburn’s voice-over introduction to the 1954 movie Sabrina.

I adore everything about this movie. It’s a black and white movie, which I have a soft spot for. I can watch Humphrey Bogart movies all day long (sometimes I do just that). Audrey Hepburn is simply delightful in all her roles. William Holden portraying a playboy in the movie is life imitating art.
I even like the 1995 remake with Harrison Ford, Julia Ormond, and Greg Kinnear, but I don’t love it like I do the original.
Thank you, Linda, for today’s #JusJoJan and #SoCS prompt.
Until next time.
