This was my second A-to-Z blogging challenge. I managed to stay ahead of daily articles by writing a couple in advance and scheduling them. This kept my deadline-is-looming anxiety down, which was a welcomed improvement over my last-minute writing from 2022.
Here is a recap of my A-to-Z articles. I went with the 2023 A-to-Z theme of resilience. I chose 26 songs that showed us, musically, what resilience looks (sounds?) like. I also offered a reflection of the resilience in each song.
For your reading convenience, I’ve listed my 26 articles with links. I designated seven of the songs as resilience anthems. I’ve indicated those songs with RA. The seven resilience anthems are alphabetical and in no particular order of importance, except for Queen’s The Show Must Go On, which is the resilience anthem of all resilience anthems. I gave it the #1 RA honor.
A is for Aretha Franklin – Chain of Fools
B is for the Beatles – Help!
C is for Cyndi Lauper – True Colors
D is for Diana Ross – You Can’t Hurry Love
E is for Elton John – I’m Still Standing– RA
F is for Frank Sinatra – My Way – RA
G is for Gloria Gaynor – I Will Survive – RA
H is for Hugh Jackman – What have I Done?
I is for Idina Menzel – Let It Go! – RA
J is for Johnny Cash – A Boy Named Sue
K is for Keala Settle – This is Me – RA
L is for Little Cosette – Castle on a Cloud
M is for Reba McEntire – Fancy
N is for Nancy Sinatra – These Boots are Made for Walkin‘ – RA
O is for Roy Orbison – Only the Lonely
P is for Patsy Cline – Walkin’ After Midnight

I appreciated each and every like and comment I received on these 26 ‘resilience in songs’ articles during the April 2023 A-to-Z Blogging Challenge.
I’m packing my virtual suitcase and fueling my virtual car in preparation of the road trip to visit the A-to-Z bloggers I missed reading during April. I’m looking forward to meeting new readers who stop by here and to also discover new-to-me-bloggers.
See you soon!
Until next time,
