Linda G. Hill hosts Stream of Consciousness Saturday. Today’s topic is to use a word(s) beginning with “over”.
Yesterday, I shared a graduation speech I wrote many years ago in honor of my second oldest grandchild who graduates high school today.
While she is excited to have reached this milestone in her young life, she is overwrought, overstimulated, overwhelmed, overtired, and overcome with equal parts happiness, sadness, exuberance, and pride. There have been many overly dramatic moments this past week leading up to today with many bittersweet tears shed over memories of the years she spent at her school (two years of preschool through 12th grade).
She will embark upon a college degree in aeronautics/flight this fall with a career goal of becoming an air ambulance helicopter pilot.
We are overjoyed for her.
Until next time,
Kaye Spencer

Graduation is becoming big business, it’s going over the top, overdone and overhyped! ππ
That said well done that girl an eminently worth career. I wish her all the best. ππππ
Thankfully, this graduation ceremony will be short, sweet, to the point, and low-key. We live in a small, rural community. She is one of 9 graduates today. π
Thanks for the well wishes.
I truly mean them π
