I made French toast for Sunday breakfast recently.
Why is it that I could eat every piece on that plate in one setting (those are the leftovers) and not bat an eye, but I would never, and I mean never, eat that many pieces of bread as sandwiches in one setting? In fact, I rarely eat one sandwich in any given week. Half of a peanut butter and jam sandwich is more than plenty every so often.
But turn those pieces of bread into French toast slathered with butter and syrup, and I will stuff myself.

Until next time,
