Have you ever had an ‘eat the crumbs in the bottom of the potato chip bag with ketchup garnish’ days?
I’ve had several in a row lately.
It’s most assuredly related to my obsession determination to design a book cover for one of my books. I wrote about my graphic design ability limitations last Monday (October 2nd). Since then, I’ve spent entirely too much time at my computer making myself blurry-eyed, headachy, and evidently a bit on the manic side in my book cover design efforts.
I’ve heard that the first step in recovery is to admit you have a problem. Well, I’ll admit I have a graphics design problem with creating book covers, but I’m not ready to admit I possess no talent whatsoever for it…yet.
Until we meet again,
Have you considered using AI to design your book cover?
No. Call me old fashioned. Call me non-progressive. I’m personally not comfortable at this time with AI as an artistic/creative tool. Maybe I’ll change my mind down the road. Right now, it’s important to me to watch from the sidelines regarding how AI and copyright laws develop.
