I’ve saved this picture for today as a spooky Halloween cellpic photo.
I took this picture on July 5, 2023. I had just finished stringing blue lights around the new flower bed. Flowers were beginning to bloom. The sky was overcast. It was 9:50 p.m.
Look at the orange glow at fence level on the far right. That glow is on my neighbor’s back porch. To think that all these years, I’ve never seen the porch for what it really is…
[cue spooky music]
…home to a Balrog-type creature.
